Cluster of lit pillar candles with eucalyptus in a dark room

Hand-poured in small batches

Light for the gloaming hours.

Slow-burning candles, poured by hand for long evenings, low lamps and good conversation.

The collection

Six ways to slow down.

From amber jars to dinner tapers. Choose a scent, size or wax colour inside each piece.

    Candle care

    A ritual worth keeping.

A few small habits help every candle burn evenly, right to the end.

    1. First burn

Let the wax melt to the edges the first time — around two hours — to avoid tunnelling.

    2. Trim the wick

Trim to 5mm before each light for a calm, smoke-free flame.

    3. Reuse the vessel

Once it’s done, warm water lifts the last wax, ready for pens, brushes or a cutting.

    About Gloamwick

    Poured slowly, burned slowly.

“Gloaming” is the old word for twilight — the in-between hour when the lamps go on. Gloamwick began as a kitchen-table pour for exactly that hour.

Every candle is poured, cured for two weeks and labelled by hand in small batches.

    • Rapeseed & coconut wax blend, no paraffin
    • Phthalate-free fragrance oils
    • Glass you’ll want to keep
